Vedanta PDF Print E-mail
Vedanta is the understanding of oneself as whole, adequate, and limitless. In the vision of Vedanta, the self is totally acceptable because it is what one basically wants to be --the whole. This teaching is transmitted through a highly evolved pedagogy by adept preceptor to a dedicated student.

One is born related. It is impossible for anyone to live a life where there are no relationships at all. ImageOne cannot change people to make one's life more comfortable. One, therefore, needs to learn to relate to the world objectively and by letting people be what they are. This is where Vedanta plays a significant role as it teaches that the more one grants freedom to others, the more one is objective, the greater is one's own freedom in relation to one's environment. Vedanta shows that this objectivity is possible through cultivating inner space between oneself, and the myriad roles that one is called to play.  The compassion and objectivity arising from this understanding is the birthright of all, and can be discovered regardless of religion, nationality, race, tribe, creed, gender, or sexuality. Vedanta is therefore for all who seek to understand themselves. It is not attached to any dogma, political party, or religious agenda.
